Katie Mae is an independent songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona, playing shows across the Southwest, both solo and with her band, the Lubrication. Katie Mae describes her sound as interpretive country & alt-western music, though she first took to a stage as the vocalist for a local punk band (and still does). The transition in style is anything but jarring - considering the share values of honesty, authenticity, and vulnerability.
